Pet care experience
I am eager to get back to pet sitting. I was fully booked up with clients before covid and am ready to jump back into it. I have 3 cats that are on a 2 week on / 2 week off joint custody schedule with my ex husband. I decided to welcome other animals into my home on the weeks I am cat free. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, bunnies, turtles, chickens, birds, guinea pigs, and fish. I handled aquatic animal care (turtles, catfish, and eel) and care for chickens and a dog at past jobs. I'm reliable and consistent and am open to any questions you would have for me!

Amber has watched my cats for extended periods while I'm out of town, and she's been great! She sends pictures of the kitties and asks questions when she doesn't know something. She's respectful of my home as well. Amber has a clear love for animals of all shapes and sizes!
Our dog is older and getting a little grumpy! I recently told my husband that we couldn’t leave him again unless it was with Amber. Amber Slattery is a warm, caring person and we knew right away when we met her that she would care for our pup like we do. She moved into our house for three weeks each time last summer and this summer while we were abroad. She sent numerous photos of her and our dog cuddling on the couch or of him sleeping on the bed with her. (He sleeps on our bed with us when we’re there). We couldn’t have been happier with Amber and I can’t recommend her enough. She is a responsible person and we trust her completely to stay in our home and look after our precious pup. She’s literally the only person now that we’re comfortable leaving our dog with.
I recently used Amber for an overnight in my home to care for my dog, Tucker. I was immediately comfortable when we met. She kept me updated the whole time. I highly recommend Amber!

I really appriciate knowing pet's typical schedules and if have any special care instructions. I have much experience caring for sick or elderly pets. I can administer medication and keep consistent on any specific schedules they may have.
A typical day
I will play fetch with your pup or with their favorite toys for at least an hour through out the day. If they are used to cuddling with someone at night I'd be absolutely fine with that.

I am currently only working 4 days a week, so I have lots of time to spend with your pet, play with them, and check in on them if I'm not staying with them full time.
