Hi! I'm Amber and I can't wait to meet your pet!! I ADORE all animals but am partial to dogs. ;) My fur child is Zuni and she is precious to us. She loves other dogs too; we're convinced she's actually a person -- haha, kidding. I've grown up with all kinds of animals-dogs, cats, rabbits, birds- but dogs have a special place in my heart. No matter what kind of pet you have, I'd love to stop by to give them some love. My husband and I recently moved into the Denver area from Alabama; our hearts are in the mountains. I am currently attending the Graduate School of Social Work while my husband is a student at Korbel at DU. My schedule is super flexible, and my husband is almost always home (perks of both being grad students) so your pup will get all of the love and attention they crave. We like to go for walks around our neighborhood so if your dog is active, they'll fit right in. However, I do understand some dogs are not active and will do whatever I can to meet you and your dogs' needs. A little about Zuni: Blue Heeler/Rat Terrier mix, about 7 years old, super friendly, treat lover, anytime snuggler (she loves burrowing under blankets) and fetcher of balls/anything you'll throw for her. Liesel, in the profile photo, was our sweet 11 year old lab mix who passed away a few weeks ago. We loved our old girl and life isn't the same without her. Having said that, we are well experienced in caring for older pups and will give provide a relaxing, calm environment while they are at our home.

Amber & Ryan are great! They took such great care of our dog - followed his food schedule, for this picky eater we have, and he was happy as can be when we picked him up. He also loved time playing with their super sweet dog.

Amber and Ryan were amazing! I’ve used Rover for 3 years, and this was my best experience yet! Shooter and Myka were so excited to go to their house every day, and all the adorable pictures made leaving town THAT much easier!

Sleeping habits/arrangements, eating habits, temperament, UTD on shots, interaction preference, play/activity habits **Since your pup(s) will have plenty opportunities to be outside, play outside, and go for walks, excessive potty accidents in our home will result in a $50 cleaning fee to help us make sure our home is completely clean of urine and feces. ***UPDATE: 11/28/19: We are no longer accepting puppies who are not house trained. **Additionally, any damage caused by a guest dog will result in the owner's responsibility of repairing the damage and/or replacing damaged items. Documents will be required to sign prior to the guest pup staying at our home.
A typical day
We live in a neighborhood that is "walk friendly" so going on walks will not be a problem! We love walking a close by trail that's about a mile and a half long. It's in the middle of the city but definitely doesn't feel like it! :) Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Your dog can sleep in our living room or our front room (unconfined with dog beds). If you'd prefer an enclosed sleeping area, we have a large crate and a spare bedroom. Please let us know what your dog prefers and if they are anxious chewers! Time I'll spend with your dog: My husband, Ryan, or I will be home, available to play, walk, or just hang out with your dog pretty much all day. Ryan's schedule is opposite of mine, which means when I am not home, he is home. Your pup will only be left alone at our home no more than 2 hours (for us to run out to the grocery, gym, or general errands) and will be kept separate from Zuni while we are unable to supervise.
