Pet care experience
I’ve grown up in a house with dogs my entire life. My family helped raise and foster 5 seeing eye dogs until the age of one. I lived on a northern reserve for five years and helped foster and get dogs brought to the city for adoption. When I was able to have my own dog, I enrolled him in Skiplyn kennels obedience training. I have a good relationship with Skiplyn, my dog has completed all levels of obedience. He is e-collar trained, we regularly drop in for e-collar training and activities held by Skiplyn, such as frisbee.

Amber R. was great with my Jake and Lily. She paid special attention to my old man that needs a little extra love and taught Lily how to play fetch and return the ball to you instead f teasing you with it. Her dog Bo was very caring to Jake who is 15 1/2 and became Jake’s personal security as he watched over him as well. When we were getting ready to leave you could tell that both my dogs as well as Bo didn’t want each other to go. We will definitely be using Amber R. again as you know that your fur babies will be treated as part of the family. Thanks again Amber R.
Amber is an amazing pet caregiver! She has taken care of my two huskies on multiple occasions and they just love her. She loves animals and has a dog of her own that is her pride and joy. Your dog will be in great hands with her and you will not to worry about a thing! ☺️

I live on a quiet, safe street near walking trails. I have a 6ft high fully fenced in yard. My dog is Skiplyn trained with an E collar and crate trained. I have lived with 2 husky’s in my home before. The basement can be a safe place to separate dogs if needed.

What makes your dog most comfortable? What are their daily needs? What is a regular routine for your dog? Any allergies? Any situations that should be avoided? If dogs are not crate trained they must not destroy anything or have accidents.
A typical day
My dog gets a minimum of 2 walks a day and gets to run at the park chasing a ball or frisbee. We love off leash bush walks or time out at camp near the water. Your dog will fit in and enjoy hanging out with us. I will update you with pictures of your dog hanging out with us.

Availability
I work Monday to Friday I am gone from the home for eight hours, but home all evening and weekends. I walk my dog in the morning before work, and after work. There’s a park down the street from my home that I take the dog to to play fetch or frisbee daily. I work in education so I am off in the summers and most holidays I am home.
