When you are busy and need some help, your dog does too and that's why I am here to help support the community in small but important ways. I would love to help all dogs If I could. My love for healthy animals is something that encourages me to grow. I volunteer at RAS on and off when I can handle the emotional aspect of it all which has helped me build recognition of dog behavior and body language. I've recognized that a dogs energy feeds off of their surroundings. Therefore, I remain calm in high stress situations for the dogs to ensure stability. Since, I've always had dogs I understand the psychology of breaking their attention from squirrels and other distractions. I understand different techniques work for different dogs which is why it is important to speak with the owners about their dogs behavior and how they have trained them.

Amber is honestly one of the biggest animal lovers I’ve ever met! She makes walks fun for everyone, and my dog loves her! Every time I see her walking a dog, both she and the dogs are joyful and happy. She’s a sweet, patient, compassionate person who shares my adoration for rescue Pitts, and I’d trust her to walk my big dog anywhere!

Amber is the most caring and compassionate person I have ever met! She loves animals and has done an excellent job training her own animals over the years. Definitely would recommend, she is an absolute sweetheart and my husky adores her.
Amber Perkins is the most qualified dog (and cat) owner that I have ever met. Her attention to detail regarding her dogs' nutrition, play time, training, and environment is incomparable. For instance, one of her dogs, Jabari, has allergies and occasional digestive issues, so she takes special care to feed him food with all natural ingredients, sometimes even cooking food for him, and giving him regular baths before applying medical treatments to his skin. This makes Jabari a very happy boy. Since Amber also rescued Jabari (along with her other pets), she made sure to hire a private trainer to learn and coach Jabari with individualized techniques. She consistently practices with Jabari to reinforce new behavior, and even shows her friends and family how to properly interact with him as well. Recently, a friend of hers could no longer care for their pet dog, so she immediately found a foster home for Luna, within just an hour. By the next day, she had 5 new families ready to take in Luna. She was able to do this all within 2 days notice before going on a two week vacation! If you need someone who truly cares about the well-being and happiness of your doggie, there is no one better than Amber.
