Pet care experience
I like to think of myself as a dog inclined cat person. I grew up with cats and am used to all their personalities, mine have always been on the more affectionate side but I’ve dealt with plenty of grumps and skittish kitties and know to respect their boundaries. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs as well - ranging from bacon loving pugs to awkward silken wind hounds (google them haha). I live a fairly active lifestyle and love having a companion to take along with me on hikes or to simply chill at the park. I have experience tiring out energetic pups and am used to working with troublemakers.

I have dog-tolerant cat (she mostly just ignores/avoids them and is more interested in their kibble) who I’ve taught to sit and wait for her meals. I strongly believe in following the owner’s routine for their pets and respecting the training that has been put in.

Let me know if there are any training habits or routines I should keep up while taking care of them. Also if they are reactive on walks, food/toy possessive, and how much exercise they need per day so that I can make sure I’m giving them the best care possible!
A typical day
I just moved to the Wilmington area and am looking for explorer buddies to take with me while I get to know the city! For more social dogs, I can take them with me to the gym where they will get lots of attention from people walking by and to parks. No worries if your doggo is lower energy or antisocial! I can also veg out on the couch with the best of them and practice mental stimulation with tricks.

Availability
I work remotely and am available throughout the day to give your pets all the attention they need! For drop in’s, I will spend some time cleaning up (litter box, spilled food, bringing in the mail, etc) and playing with pets to help get the energy out.
