Pet care experience
My husband and I have a young border collie mix! named Indy. My experiences with dogs and cats started when I was very young! I grew up in a home with anywhere from 2-4 dogs at a time ranging from small to extra large sized dogs, young-senior. I have also had cats my whole life! I've spent a lot of my life dog and cat sitting for family members and friends. I love the outdoors and going on walks around the area during the day, I'd love for your dogs to join me! I am a teacher, so my summers and breaks are more flexible to accommodate your doggos! I have not had experience with being the full time caregiver to an animal with special needs or the elderly, however, I have had secondary experiences with them.

Amber has been my daily dog walker for the past 6 months and has taken great care of my dog, Haley! She was always flexible to last minute changes and kept me updated after each visit. Haley can be a bit nervous around new people but Amber knew just how to approach her and Haley warmed right up to her. Your pup will be in good hands!
Amber is responsive and so kind! I knew Benny was left in great hands while I was out of town. I will definitely book with her again!!!
Amber helped me big time by walking my chocolate lab twice a day. She was super gentle with Chance, who is an aging, old, wise soul. I got daily pictures and updates of their walking (more like meandering) adventures. I definitely recommend Amber to anyone in need of a responsible, kind-hearted sitter!
Amber has been great with our dogs and cats. Our cats are easy-going, but both our dogs are a little on the hyper side and Amber has handled their antics well. She is patient with them, and they respond well to her. I just wish she hadn’t moved so far away, because my pups would sure like her to be closer, so they could go on walks with her. I definitely recommend Amber as a sitter or walker for your furbabies.

Any dogs in our home are treated as apart of our family. We have pretty regular routines with walks or runs in the AM and PM between my husband and I. We feed our dog in the morning and evening, but we can accommodate any feeding schedule. We do not crate our pup, but we used to and can’t easy accommodate that routine in our home. We have a fenced in yard as well.

A typical day
We would have so much fun! Walks and runs everyday! We also have a dog trailer hook up for our bikes. Our dog is allowed on our furniture- we cuddle and play!

Availability
I only accept stays and walks during my summer break from teaching. So I am home full time. I usually wake up around 6, eat breakfast then go for a walk or run with my dog. When we get back, she is fed and we play. Throughout the day, we play and hangout (outside too!). In the evenings, we eat, dog included, then take a walk around our neighborhood.
