I begged my parents for a dog for as long as I can remember. They did everything they could to prevent the inevitable from happening (getting a dog). They would drive me to the pet shelter most days after school so I could walk and care for the dogs there, they allowed me watch friend's' dogs when their families were out of town; pretty much anything they could think of to get me to stop asking them for a dog of my own. When I was 14 my parents finally caved and we got my cockapoo, Apollo. I cared for Apollo until I moved out of my parents house. Now I live with my boyfriend and his 10 year old golden/lab mix, Carter (he's in my profile picture). I am excited to get to care for dogs through Rover.

I've had my dog, Carter (also referred to as Corporal Carter), for nearly 11 years after rescuing him at 5 weeks old. He has been the greatest companion I could have asked for when adopting a dog. Because of how much I love my dog, I'm extremely cautious with who I trust to care for him. That ranges from vets, friends, even family members. Amber is one of the select few people I put my trust in to keep my boy safe and she does it with so much love. He absolutely adores her and that is purely a result of the way she treats him. It's so much fun to watch Amber and Carter interact and see how happy they both make each other. I 100% recommend Amber as someone trustworthy enough to take care of your best friend.
