Pet care experience
I LOVE animals! I have lived with multiple pets (dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a turtle) in my house until I left home for college. I have house sat for multiple friends over the years, for as long as a month. I’ve watched and taken care of a variety of pets (dogs, cats, fish, etc) and I'm open to watching other animals as well!! If your pet has a routine or any special care instructions I can try my best to stick to those those routines for you. If I have any conflicts, such as work I am open to talking about it and hopefully finding a good solution for the situation. I have walked up to 3 dogs at once and am confident in my handling abilities. I have no problem walking them a certain route they are used to or picking up after them. I live in Kennesaw, GA and work in Woodstock. I work with dogs on a daily basis, as I am an assistant manager at a doggie daycare.

Amber was WONDERFUL with our babies! She kept us updated daily with pictures. She followed every direction to a T. She left our house clean and tidy. But above all she loved our animals like her own while we were away and we could tell how happy and comfortable they were with her. We definitely recommend Amber and we will absolutely use her again!
Amber was fantastic - she stayed at my home with my dog Libby for a week while we were on our honeymoon. I didn’t have to worry about anything. Amber kept in communication, sent photos, and left the house in great condition. I would definitely rebook - thanks so much!
Amber is fantastic! She is friendly, responsible, and leaves the house just as we left it. Most importantly- our animals are happy when we get home! We will definitely use her again and again and recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

-I've never specifically taken care of special needs dogs but am willing to talk through different routines or procedures for those types of needs. This also applies to injected medications (I have previously given animals their vaccines so I'm comfortable with injections and would just need to know the injection location and the most comfortable way for your pet to recieve their injections). -Are you a dedicated rain or shine walker? If so, do you have "dog towels" for drying/clean up? -A basic written out routine for your pet would be very helpful, especially if you have multiple pets with different care instructions.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and playing fetch! If your pet has any other fun activities they enjoy I'd love to know about them. I also love cuddling and loving on them as much as they'll let me.

Availability
I do have a very involved job that can schedule me anywhere from 8-11 hours on any given day depending on any staffing issues that may arise. 8-9 hours is a more typical range for me though. I receive my schedules on a weekly basis so I won't know my availability past a week out.
