Amber ROCKS! My dogs are happy and so are we!!

My wife and I have contacted Rover about our most recent stay with Amber. In short, she said she would show up to our house at 530-6, and then showed up at 715 without a phone call or text saying she was running late. She also declined to answer any of our phone calls or texts wondering where she was. We were out of town and left to wonder if she was actually going to show up. When she finally arrived, she said she was late because she had asthma and offered no apology ("not sorry" were her actual words). So we were left with a decision to remain with this sitter who was non-responsive and unapologetic, or call in emergency favors from our friends to watch the dogs. We were done gambling with the welfare of our dogs, so we called in some favors and Amber was relieved of her duties. She was told that our friend would collect the key from her, but she left our house and instead put the key under the mat and told me "go f*** yourself." We did not provoke or respond with vulgarity of our own. I am happy to provide screenshots of our rover messages to anyone who reaches out. We have not returned from our trip yet, but our emergency sitter tells us our dogs are fine. But I would not recommend letting this person in your home or near your animals.
