Do you mind if I pet your dog?! It's a given right? We all love dogs here. I have been browsing through the sitters available to find a sitter for my own fur babies. It's no secret that there are great sitters here who all have a passion for the puppers. Why am I different? I am not sure that I am. I am here though and I genuinely want to pet your dog. (and hang out with, play with, cuddle with, and care for them too!!) I am not doing this for a career or even really a job. I am doing this for a little extra income, but even more so it is somewhat recreational for me. I want to care for your dog- by choice! It is a basic human necessity for me to hang out with dogs- and I am good at it. A little about my experience with dogs- I have had several dogs in my life. The first dog I remember at a young age was a yellow lab owned by my uncle. (whom I lived with.) Another aunt also had a couple of German Shepherd dogs and an adorable little pug. In addition to those lovely fur babies- I primarily grew up with Shih-Tzus and currently own them myself. I also briefly owned a Rat Terrier, however he needed more space than I could provide him, so we found him a lovely farm to run and play on to his little hearts content. All of that to say- dogs are not a novelty to me. I am very familiar with them and enjoy their company. Your dog can be my friend too!

Amber went above and beyond with our cute Jack! She sent daily photos and updates, loved that he had other pups to play with, loads of cuddles and she even sent home a goodie bag. Will definitely be booking with Amber again, Jack had the best time!
The best experience I've had on Rover by far. Amber (and her husband) will be my first choice moving forward. Watched my dog for a week, received updates with pictures. Went above and beyond. No complaints.
Amber is the best! It’s hard to find people you trust, especially with little dogs. She did amazing! My dogs seemed to love her a lot. She followed all the instructions we gave her for our two little ones and gave very detailed descriptions of there visits along with a bunch of photos which we loved🥰 Amber even left us the nicest gift with toys and treats for our pups and nice card. Definitely highly recommend her!! Will be using again❤️
Amber is actually amazing! She and her husband are such attentive and caring pet lovers! We will definitely re-book with Amber! She communicated so well with updates and pictures and and videos and just took such great care of our Oakley! Thank you so so much Amber!

In our home, our dogs basically run the show and I would care for your dog as our own during their time here. Our dogs are allowed on furniture, in bed, and basically anywhere they want that is safe for them. We typically close off the stairs unless we are going up or down, as we have senior pups. We have more dog beds in our house than we need, way more! We believe the pups should have a comfy place just about in every corner. Our pups typically go outside 3-4 times a day in our fully fenced backyard. “Walkies” are as needed and weather dependent. The cuddles are almost constant when we are home and play time is whenever they prompt it. :) As for the environment, it’s just my husband and I and our 3 pups in our house. If we are boarding, your pups will be able to interact with all of us. For house-sitting, I’ll be with your pups to give them my undivided attention in the home. Walks & drop ins also get my undivided attention. For doggy day care, your pups will be able to interact with our 3 if that works. We also have the space to separate if need be!

We definitely prefer smaller dogs, as we have smaller dogs. We like to know- feeding schedules, any unusual behaviors to expect, anything that causes them anxiety, favorite toys, allergies, typical bathroom schedules, best sleeping habits, any noise sensitivies, favorite snacks/games, how often do you want photos?, under what circumstances should we contact you immediately?
A typical day
We have a park about a block away that we love to walk to, through, and around. Otherwise, the day is filled with naps, treats, playtime, and cuddles! If you allow your dogs to have “pup cups” we love a trip to Dutch Bros for some special tasty treats! (But we also respect if you do not allow the pup cups. We will adhere to any reasonable boundaries set.)

Availability
Now into the nitty gritty- My husband and I live in Brigham City, UT. From October 1st-February 1st I am OFF work, so I can commit to the pups pretty much full time! The rest of the year, I have a decently flexible schedule. I am available for early morning and later evening for walks/drop ins so I can work around whatever your pup’s regular schedule may demand. Feel free to schedule a date night drop off (day-care) during evening time as well if needed! For house sitting and boarding- I will be with your dog(s) for most of their stay during the day and of course including all overnights. Dogs will be allowed to go for walks/outside to bathroom every every 4 hours or as often as needed. I plan to modify my schedule to meet your dog's needs and comfort whenever possible.
