I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Yorkshire Terriers to a three-legged lab to an energetic Belgian Shepherd. I have pretty much had a dog in my house from infancy until I went to college. Even though I do not currently own my own dog, I work with a guiding company that, in the winter, offers dog mushing tours at Martin Buser's Happy Trails Kennels where I work with the rambunctiously lovable sled dogs several times a week, both as a musher and just as a playmate. As a tour guide, my schedule is always flexible, but for when I am at work, I have a secure and high fenced yard. When not working, I'm up in the mountains either hiking or bouldering and would be overjoyed to have a four-legged companion on these trips.
