when I was growing up I lived in a little town in missouri. I lived about 12 miles from town, down a 4 mile dirt road, and a mile long driveway. The closest neighbors that has kids ,( 2 boys a lot older than me) ,lived 2 miles away. So during the summer I played in the woods with my pack of 4 mixed breed dogs. I learned most of the social skills and energy needed to be " top dog". I've never met a dog that didn't like me. I'm a fan of big dogs like great Danes but enjoy the smaller breeds as well.
