Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own cats since 2006, and I have also been a pet snd house sitter for friends and coworkers since 2007. I have cared for a variety of small, medium and large dogs, cats (both indoor and outdoor), hamsters, guinea pigs, and even chickens. Family, friends, and coworkers have counted on me to feed, care for (and clean up after), walk, and play with their pets when they are either at work or out of town! In addition to young pups and healthy adult dogs, I've also helped take care of senior dogs (and my own senior cat) who need special attention. Just let me know what your pet / fur family needs to be safe, happy and healthy, and I'm happy to help them live their best lives!

Amber was wonderful. She stayed at my home for 3 days taking care of my two dogs - one of which was a puppy. The invisible fence was not working so she walked them several times a day. I received really cute videos and pictures giving me an assurance that all was well. I till definitely request Amber to sit with my pups in the future!

Any instructions on feeding times, food amounts, treats, etc. are welcome info to help me take good care of your fur family! Also, feel free to let me know if they have a special toy, favorite type of play, or preferred walking route that makes them feel happy and safe.
A typical day
I'm always happy to cuddle and play with cats and dogs of any size or breed! Depending on your pet's (or pets') age and physical needs, we can go for walks, play in the yard or in a preferred park, and play tug-of-war, ball, or fetch. Whatever they need!

Availability
I'm currently working part time as I teach and work on my dissertation, so my schedule is fairly flexible to meet your and your fur family's needs! My flexible schedule means that I can come when you most need me, and I can spend quality time taking car of your cats and/or dogs without rushing. I'm currently available for drop-ins and/or house sitting (even at short notice). On Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I'm most available for drop-ins in the evenings (I teach fro. 8am to 2pm), but Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I can flex my schedule to come morning, afternoon, and/or evening. If you need a sitter for AU game days, I can be there to take of your fur family while you tailgate and enjoy the game! For the Fall 2023 semester, I will be working from about 6:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so I'll be available only in the afternoons and evenings those days. For the rest of the week, my time is highly flexible.
