Hi, I’m Amber (she/her)! I have dogs and cats for all my life and absolutely love them! ** My Experience ** I have experience petsitting Pitbull mixes, Terriers, Poodles, and German Shepards among others. I’ve worked with kitties that greet new people with gusto and am also skilled at the dance of earning the trust of new cats. All while respecting their boundaries, of course!

Amber was amazing at taking care of our two senior pups while we were away for a couple of weeks. The house was left tidy and we got daily updates while she watched them. So grateful to have someone so trustworthy looking after our home and pets.

** What I Offer as a Sitter ** When staying at your home while pet sitting, I will be home in the mornings and most evenings and can offer mid-day potty breaks. The number of hours I’ll be out of the house per day varies from 0-8 (non-consecutive) depending on my other engagements. I can be flexible with when I’m home and away to meet your pet’s needs. I can also do drop-in visits 2 times per day if that works better for your pets, but my preference is to have the ability to stay the night. I know being away from your pets can be hard! I can send updates of our activities and photos daily, every-other-day, or as-requested. ** What I Offer as a Walker ** I am available for weekly recurring walks or one-time walks. I’m happy to reinforce and maintain expectations you have for training, although I am not a certified trainer. After practicing some on-leash recalls, I love taking dogs to the dog park! We can play fetch, practice engaging commands or just run with the other pups. If you are not home when I return with your pup, I can towel them off before leaving. In your booking request, please confirm that your pets meet the following qualities to make sure I'm a good fit to meet their needs (you can just say "I read over your requested info and my pets have those qualities!"): * I cannot walk dogs that pull consistently on leash * I do not accept petsitting bookings for pets that have regular or infrequent potty accidents in the home. * I can only accept petsitting for pets that can be left alone for 6 or more hours at a time. On walks, I am knowledgeable about and react quickly to changing circumstances and am great at effective leash control and managing your dog's interactions with other pets and humans. I can carry treats, and offer pets or praise to aid in positive behavior reinforcement training.
