Amber seemed very nice an accommodating especially to my changing travel times. However I was a bit upset that after verbally repeating my request for photos at drop off she didn't respond when I rerequested several times via Rover. (I wasn't worried about my dogs' well-being, but my puppy had been freaked out by her cat, and when she told me they'd started playing I said I'd love some pix. Of greater concern, they seemed extremely thirsty when I picked them up. Maybe just excitement. They also seemed hyper, as if they hadn't gotten much besides potty opportunities in three days. Again maybe just excitement. But more concrete -- I had carefully measured out exactly how much food they should be fed, both kibble and wet. I got half of it back. Even if my older dog didn't eat all the kibble I hoped she would, she would have eaten the wet food, especially since I asked that her leftovers be fed to the puppy and she given fresh food next meal. And the puppy wasn't given his vitamin pills. I'm sure it would have been better to have handed her computer-printed vs handwritten instructions, but on the reservation sheet for Amber there were printed instructions! I suspect Amber is a fine conscientious person but she is jugging two kids and a job and most of her dog sitting experience is for parents' dog. Hope that she gets a chance to practice with others. Since I'm not in her area, and was near her only for a conference, I would have no reason to use her again anyway,

Amber was great with Harley. It was the first time he wasn’t super depressed when we picked him up. We got pics and updates all vacation. Would ? use her again. She will be out go to, going forward.
