Pet care experience
Our pups are spoiled, well-loved and entirely pampered members of our family. Your pupper can be too! We take a very relaxed approach to pup play time (“Sure! Hop up on the couch!”). Our bucket of toys is welcome to be shared (We have a non-aggressive toy sharer), and we’re happy to enjoy meandering around the backyard or the local neighborhoods on a nice day! Our dogs are family, and your’s would be too. Rest assured that he or she will be treated with kindness and cuddles, empathy and understanding, and attentive and prompt care. What we value in previous dog carers we have used is clear communication and spoiling of our pup, you can be sure that will be returned while we watch your canine family member!

Amber gave our labradoodle, Poppy, the best, most professional, affectionate and conscientious care we could ever have hoped for. We were very nervous about leaving our sweet girl while flew to the West Coast for the week of Thanksgiving, and had never used a dog-sitting service before. Amber quickly set our minds & hearts at ease the very first day with her many fun photos, texts, and even videos, which continued to arrive each day we were away. We came home to find a happy, relaxed girl who'd had the time of her life with Amber, her lovely yellow lab, Lemon, and family. We'll book Amber again in a heartbeat if we ever need to travel without Poppy again, and highly recommend her to anyone seeking an exceptionally loving & fun dog-sitting experience for your pooch!

Disposition and temperament. I love all dogs, but have found that high-energy dogs might not enjoy my home's relaxed and casual pace. We're happy to play with and tire out our guests, but I have a big couch potato of a labrador, and we find that our guests with similar dispositions enjoy themselves the most.
A typical day
We LOVE to go to Shirlington Dog Park early on weekend mornings. Please let us know if you would be comfortable with us taking your pup, and we'd be happy to!
