Pet care experience
Hello friends! I am currently a fur mama of 4 beautiful rescue dogs 🐕 and a cat 🐈. My family and I have had dogs and cats our whole life, I have volunteered and fostered dogs for the humane society and other rescues, and I recently worked at an emergency vet clinic 🏥 in Charlotte as a veterinary assistant. I am very well versed in caring for our canine companions and would love to care for yours!

I've known Amber for a number of years, I have observed her interact with my pets as well as her own, she is very knowledgeable on how to care and handle them. Our boy, Loki, absolutely loves her.
She is AMAZING with animals, she helped train my dog and you would never guess he is the same dog from when he was a puppy. Awesome people person too. I would highly recommend!

We have a fenced in yard, 4 friendly dogs, and a cat. Pets are allowed on all furniture, we have multiple dog beds and ramps, and there are extra bedrooms for quiet time if needed. I am also experienced with anxious dogs, having one of my own and having fostered a few. We will only accept one family's dog(s) at a time because it is very important to me that your pets feel like they are visiting a friend rather than going to a kennel. Our goal is for your pet to feel like they are as safe and welcomed here as they are at home! ❗️For the safety of our own pets, all dogs that board with us will need proof of current vaccinations and flea preventatives ❗️We have a cat in the house. She is very accustomed to dogs, but if your dog does not do well with them we can place her in a room alone if requested ❗️If you have more than 2 dogs or cats I am not opposed to opening up our home to more, but it will be based on the temperments of the pets and how well they do with our own. This also applies to extended stays. My dates and services are flexible, just reach out to me for any questions!

❓️ Does your dog have any food allergies? ❓️ Does your dog have any aggressive tendencies (sharing toys, food, ect.)? ❓️ Is there anything in particular that bothers you dog (fireworks, men/women, lifting/touching them in a certain way/area, ect.) ❓️ Are there any medications you need administered to your pet?
A typical day
Our home is close to many nature trails that we walk our own dogs on. Your dog will have access to small pools on hot days and lots of delicious frozen treats (if you would like or if their diet permits). Your dog will also have an entire king size bed to lay on and watch outside of the window, accessible by dog stairs. If playing is where it's at for your pet, we have two very playful dogs, a toy box overflowing with durable plush toys and balls (supervised play), and a large back yard for them to run around in!

Availability
I currently work full time and would like to provide local, reliable pet care part time. I am personally wary of anyone taking care of my own pets, and I would like to provide a safe haven for pets in our community. I know how hard it can be to make plans to be away for longer than a day with pets, and I would love to provide you with the security of having your furry family member being taken care of as they would be at home.
