I have been crazy about dogs since I was a child (at one point I was even convinced that I was one!) and have turned that love into a career. I am a part time dog groomer and love spending all my time with pups so much that I dog sit as well! I also have a Veterinary Technology degree and spent some time working as a technician so you know your babies will be in good hands! Whether I care for your pup at my house or yours, I have no doubt that they will be showered with love and probably even get a mini photoshoot as I love taking pictures as well! I have a pretty open availability and also am able to work with dogs that might be turned away by others. Very experienced working with: -Aggressive dogs -Fearful dogs -Dogs that don’t like strangers -Giving both oral and injectable medications -Dogs with physical disabilities and limitations -Senior dogs -Anxious dogs Sitting in my home: I do have a toddler but she has grown up with dogs and is very respectful. She isn't allowed to pull hair, sit on, push, poke, or do anything that might make a dog uncomfortable. She also has already been taught when it is appropriate to interact and when it is time to give them their space. We have dogs ourselves as well but they are very friendly and are used to having "furry" company. They do well adjusting to other dog's energy levels and can play all day or stay curled up in bed, whichever fits the situation best. We also have a wall mounted gate (see photos) at our front door as an extra precaution for the sneaky pups! Sitting in your home: I am also able to do drop in visits if your dog prefers to stay in their own home. Typically this option consists of three visits a day (about every 8 hours) to feed, let out to potty, and spend some quality time. This is a great option for multiple dog households as I don't charge extra for additional dogs. Grooming: I have been a professional groomer for 10 years and am able to give your dog a bath, bath and haircut, or even just a simple nail trim or file during it's stay in my fully furnished in home salon!
