Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats my whole life and I've lived with friends who also had animals that ended up becoming like my own too. I have house sat and pet watched w/Rover and private clients for 3 years in Tucson,1 year in Houston, and 6 months in Bloomington and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the change of scenery at other’s homes and of course I'm always respectful of other people's property. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I have experience watching multiple cats and dogs at one time (young, adult, and senior), walking dogs, bathing, following feeding schedules, and administering oral medications. I also always clean up after I’m done housesitting, leaving the home as tidy as it was left for me. So with all that said, I'd love to meet new furry friends and help out their parent's too.

Wow, Amber is amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. My husband and I were so nervous because we have never left our cats with someone we don’t already know, especially for two weeks! From the first meeting Amber put our nerves at ease. She was so good with our kitties including our senior kitty who takes medication and needs extra tlc. She also took such good care of our home and left it in better shape than when she arrived. She provided daily pictures and updates and replied promptly to any questions or concerns. We will definitely be booking Amber again!
Amber was fantastic while we were out of town. Our dogs were well taken care of and happy. The house was clean when we came home. Excellent communication and pictures of the fur babies. Will definitely book again!

Amber did a GREAT job with our German Shorthaired Pointer and our home. She overcame a few obstacles; AC went out, so she helped coordinate the repair, and a dog that didn't want to eat. She also kept our plants watered and brought in our packages that were delivered. Our dog Pilot warmed up to her from the start and that made us all happy. I HIGHLY recommend Amber!

A typical day
I will walk the desired walking route if your dog already has one they're comfortable with or I'm willing to take them around their own neighborhood or to a near by dog walk if allowed. I do work monday through friday during the week but when I house sit I always plan to stay over night, so you can feel comfortable about your pet and home being watched. And on the weekends I have no problem w/staying over majority of the day as well. I'd prefer to just be at the house the whole time if I'm not having to work and if that is ok with the homeowner. I will always clean and straighten up after my stay as well, including washing bedding and towels. Anything to make your trip back less stressful is no problem for me. And I have no issues with your dog/cat wanting to sleep w/me if that's what they want to do. Hangout sessions and lots of petting is the regularly scheduled program when I house sit :)
