Hi, names Amber! I am hoping to connect with clients and their dogs that are wanting to create a close professional relationship. I have worked in a dog daycare environment for 2+ years in addition to boarding dogs in my home or their homes for the past 1.5 years. My main goal is to provide clients with peace of mind and have their pets feel at home when they're with me. I currently own a house with my partner and our 2 dogs in the Inkster/Mcphillips area. We have a fully tall fenced yard with high security gates. Your dog will have the choice between grass or gravel as we have the option of both within our yard. Dogs have access to the whole house, there is a main floor as well as a fully finished basement with lots of room to play. Dogs are welcome on the furniture just as i'd allow my own! I pride myself on the things I learnt from working in a dog daycare facility for just over 2 years. On a daily basis I was working with 70+ dogs and I enjoyed learning about each one of them and their behaviours and personalities. I have also been boarding dogs in my home as well as clients homes since May 2018 with over 60+ clients. Client references can be available if needed. A little about my own dogs! I rescued Molly from Winnipeg Pet Rescue when she was just a few months old. She is soon to be turning 7 years old and has a very laid back personality. She has been my best friend since she entered my life and is quite a smart girl as she's always excelled at her obedience and agility classes. We recently adopted our other dog Achilles, that we fostered through a local rescue. He is 2 years old and he is a purebred Dogo Argentino. Although he is quite large, he is such a sweet heart, loves meeting new friends and can play the day away.

Amber was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. She took the time to come for a meet and greet before hand. It’s easy to see her comfort with dogs, especially tricky ones like my max. She even brought a toy for him to sample and play with (which he loved and we’ll probably buy now too). Excellent communication and quick to respond. I felt very comfortable with Amber taking care of my dog and coming into our home! Her love and passion for animals is tangible and contagious. I’m sure max with miss her and can’t wait for their next visit. ♥️
My dog has stayed with Amber on numerous occasions and he absolutely loves it! She always makes sure he has the best experience and takes such great care of him. She will send daily updates and pictures which is great to see because he is always having fun! Amber is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience working with different types of dogs. She is very caring and loving towards our dog and we never have to worry about him. She always makes sure his needs are met and that he is happy and comfortable She is also very accommodating and flexible, and allowed us to add on extra days to our dog's boarding at the last minute. She is very responsive and is always available if you have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Amber, she is absolutely fantastic!
Amber is a great host and took really good care of my dog. She communicated often and sent me pictures throughout the stay. Will definitely book with her again
We took our dog Winnie for an overnight stay to see how things would go and are so happy to say things were awesome with Amber and the stay. Winnie was a little shy at first but after we left Amber kept us updated and sent pictures of Winnie with other dogs … she seemed happy and was having fun! It’s a huge relief for us that we found someone so wonderful and cares so much for dogs. We will be leaving Winnie for two weeks with Amber and have no hesitation that Winnie will be taken good care of. Thank you so much Amber!! Definitely recommend!

My biggest thing is providing comfort and care for others dogs and treat them as I’d treat my own. I try to make them as comfortable in my home, as they are in their own homes. Sticking to a similar schedule that they’re used to helps make a smooth stay! All first time clients must do a meet and greet ahead of time to insure that they’re the right fit for my home and my dogs.

I’m currently not employed, which leaves me with plenty of time to spend with your dog whether it be at my home or yours. My schedule is flexible and open.
