My name is Amber C. and I am a full-time student at Saginaw Valley State University. I love both cats and dogs, and it will be an honor to take care of your pet. I live off-campus so I am able to care for your pets even during the school year. Ever since I was young I always loved animals. I got my first dog when I was 5 years old. My second dog came when I was 11 after my first dog passed. Both of my dogs were beagle mixes and were medium in size. I have experience taking them for walks between one and two miles depending on the weather. I feel that knowledge is power so I am more than willing to research your dog's breed in order to properly meet their exercise needs. I do not have a lot of experience with large or giant breeds, but I am willing to learn and make the proper changes in order to meet their needs. This is not nesscarily dog or cat related but I raised sheep and goats for the Gratiot County Fair for Youth which gave me the patience and experience when working with stubborn animals and the responsibility one needs to take care of active pets. When it comes to home care I am willing to do both cats and dogs. I got my first cat when I was 17 and he was barely 4 weeks old. My cat has a lot of energy so I am experienced in proper playtimes for both cats and dogs. My cat is also on the aggressive side so if you have a cat who tends to be mean I am patient and know when to back off. My cat is also on a prescription diet and has to be given oral medication, so I understand the importance of feeding schedules and medical schedules. I will also give your pet fresh water every time I stop by and make sure that dogs are let out for an adequate amount of time each visit.
