Pet care experience
When I lived with my parents there were two dogs in the house and we also took in a rescue dog a few years ago. I helped with feeding and walking the dogs and ensuring they were kept to a schedule; this was especially important for the rescue dog as he would get agitated with change. He is an aggressive dog with separation anxiety so he needs extra care and patience. A few years ago my sister got a Cocker Spaniel puppy (10 weeks old) and I would stay at her house whilst they were at work, he was a very high energy puppy and is now a very high energy dog. I love playing with him and giving him all of the attention he needs whilst also setting boundaries with him. Since then I have looked after dogs ranging from very well behaved to very aggessive dogs, I have developed an understanding of dogs knowing that they are not just being "naughty" but that they generally need something and they are acting out as a way to get it. I have a lop of patience for dogs and have looked after dogs with higher needs, needing hand feeding, medication and occasionally space.

Amber did a great job sitting for us, she watched our 2 dogs and 3 cats while we were away at a wedding, Our dogs are high energy and this didn’t phase Amber, We had a meet up before the sit to check we were both happy with everything and for her to meet the pets, The house was left nice and tidy and the dogs were calm and happy when we got home, Would 10/10 recommend, and we will definitely be using Amber again in the future.

Amber has looked after our 2 dogs since she was little and was always the one that played with them and walked them. She still comes home just to check on how Charlie is doing

Over the years I have become very confident around dogs of all sizes and energy levels, I am happy to provide a dog with anything they may need including medication etc. I have also learned how to tell when a dog is agitated and may need space and some time alone which I always provide.
Information Amber C. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to work with any dog however if they are aggressive then I will need to know how to best care for them, how to avoid triggering their aggression and how to handle them if they do get aggressive. It would also be beneficial if we could have a few meet ups before the dog sitting to ensure that the dog knows me and wont get aggressive due to them not knowing me, It would also be helpful for me to know any potential temperaments, health conditions, tricks, allergies, food requirements, feeding schedules, daily routines and how they are around other dogs (during walks etc). If I am staying over I would also like to know what your expectations are whilst I'm there.
A typical day
I can provide whatever environment the dog needs, I can be playful and high energy and I can also be chill and be quiet if the that's what the dog needs. I love going for walks in new places and taking a dog along with me makes this even better and it also provides the benefit of getting rid of any extra energy they may have.

Availability
I work Monday - Friday 8:30-17:00, my work is very flexible and allows me to work from home when needed, however I like to be in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for at least a half day (4hrs) and then I can work from home for the rest of the week. If needed and advanced notice is given I can plan to work from home to Tuesdays and Wednesdays too.
