In recent years I have volunteered and worked in catteries for a number of years providing me with skills and experience to care for any cat or other animal (dog, rodent, reptiles etc ) with confidence and ease. Im a recent masters graduate in wildlife conservation in training to become an ecologist, i also have a animal management L3 qualification which concentrates on feline and canine behaviour, breeding and management (including kennel and cattery management). I have 10 years of administering medicine and monitoring health due to previous pets ongoing health concerns, so very happy to administer any medication if needed. Additionally I have volunteered at kennels to walk dogs, feed, cleaning and socialise with them. I’m able to understand your cats or dogs behaviour meaning I can attend to their every need. I have been walking the same labrador for almost three years as with him I will find a nearby field or park to walk and will continue to train the dogs if required (puppies, young dogs ect). I try to make it the most exciting part in their day. The golden Labrador has a complex health history with ongoing issues, I often have to observe his performance during walks and make quick changes to aid his comfort and needs on each day. I also take him to specialist appointments when required when required, a service which could be available on request. I have undertaken a pet first aid course but I’m due more retraining. Although I have recently obtain my people first aid certificate’s.
