I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, I grew up with their love and grew up learning how to love on them. I’ve taken care of 3 dogs in my life. My 6yo Border Collie from when he was a puppy, a 4 yo Border Collie I helped train from puppy- 2yo, and a Chocolate Lab from when he was a puppy - 6 months old. I understand the importance of trusting you pet sitter and to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I enjoy giving doggos long walks and playing with them to keep energy and stress levels down. For my cat friends playing with them and giving them their space when needed to let them feel comfortable.

Amber is great with dogs and cats! She is an animal lover thru and thru. I have had her watch my pets while I am traveling and can feel comfortable that my pets are well cared for. It shows in the picture that she sends. If you have the opportunity to have her care for your fur babies-go for it.
Amber took care of my 14 yo dog with such care. She really took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her and respected his space in the house. Was really amazing at sending pictures and updates without me having to ask her. She cleaned up after herself and left the place better than she found it. My dog really enjoyed his time with her and I know that she’ll make a great addition to the Rover team.

When I am at my own house, I have the entire upstairs to myself and your pet would be safe and sound with baby gate to give them private access to 2 bedrooms and a loft space. Within your home, I would want your friend to feel safe and introduce myself and not force them to play. Rather I would want you to know your fury friend in comfortable and still receiving the love and care you would give.

If your pet is on a specific feeding, potty, or medication schedule please let me know when you book or make sure your profile has the information, so I can make sure they are well taken care of even when you’re away.
A typical day
On a typical day, I would plan to have fun activities to engage your pets. We would have some fun playing inside/outside with toys and plenty of potty breaks and exercise. If you’re training if work with your pet to continue the training and make sure that they have fun.

Availability
I currently work part-time at Dutch, but I don’t work every day and the longest a shift is, is 5 hours. So I would be able to check in on your fury friend before and after my shifts to make sure if they are in a kennel they aren’t in it too long or if they need a particular food schedule I can work it around my schedule to make sure your fury friend is well taken care of.
