Just like home boarding is exactly what the name says! Your pet will be treated like part of the family during their visit with us. We have a quiet, calm home for those who may have separation anxiety. If plenty of cuddles are needed there will be an abundance of that. We also have a large yard for running and exploring for those more active. Our family has experience with fostering different ages and sizes as well as specializing in neglect or abuse cases. Our own Chihuahua had been with us for 8.5 years. He was a rescue that had been abused for the first 3 years of his life. (Digger has passed as or Dec 2018) Our female Chihuahua, Clover....is a retired breed dog and has soo much love to give. Has yet to meet a dog she doesn't like. She is autistic and rarely barks but does tend to "scream" to make her feelings known. If your dog does not like or have experience with cats, our cat Jake is perfect. He is extremely tolerant to all dogs and will even try to play if he gets the chance. Sometimes I think he even believes he is a dog! If you have never left your pet alone before I am willing to do a meet and greet at your home or mine so you will feel at ease. Your pet is precious to you and it's important to know who will be looking after them. I send pictures of your pet while in our care, videos or even video calling if needed. Your pet will only be crated if that's what they use for a bed or as per your instructions. If they sleep on your bed at night with you they will sleep in our bed.
