Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs, starting with begging for a little terrier as a child! Pixie is now 15 and doing great. I recently decided my lifestyle would suit something with a big of energy - in comes Otis - a crazy Springador with an absolute zest for life. Otis thrives with other dogs about and we'd love to open up our home to those that may need help. Otis and myself walk for over an hour a day so we can take a dog to join us. These walks are full of socialisation and mental stimulation. I can also offer various other services and am happy to discuss your needs. I have a fenced garden and very dog-proof home. I have plenty of experience to understand the needs of plenty of sizes and ages of dogs!

Amber is amazing! We book our husky Ivy in with Amber and her lovely dog Otis almost every week at the moment, for both day sits and overnight stays. Ivy has separation anxiety so cannot ever be left alone which impacts our own life, so having someone we can trust to look after her when we need it is amazing. Ivy used to be a super independent dog and although she has grown to be a soppy thing as she’s got older, the fact we got a photo of her curled up with Amber on the sofa on her first stay proves how fab she was with her instantly! Ivy always seems happy and Amber couldn’t be more flexible which is awesome. Fast replies, easy to talk to and organise with and just a nice person who we couldn’t recommend more! 🐶 x
Absolutely fabulous experience! Cecil had the best time playing with Amber’s pup Otis and Amber couldn’t have been more accommodating. It felt like leaving my dog with a trusted friend from the first moment.
Amber has always been fab with Harlem and really accommodating to my shift patterns and being really flexible! Harlem loves her time with amber and Otis and always leaps out the car when we pull up outside☺️ highly recommend!!
Amber has had dogs her whole life, so is experienced with a variety of breeds and temperaments. She currently has a great friendly dog called Otis, so is already committed to taking great care of a dog. I 100% trust her to take care of my dog and would recommend her to anyone.

A typical day
Otis and I walk for atleast an hour a day. At the weekends we often go for a run or drive somewhere new and exciting for a walk - we love the peaks. We may go find a dog friendly pub or go to new parks to socialise and mix things up. We also have a canal and loads of open space near the house for those shorter walks.

I work remotely so am able to work towards your needs as I'm very flexible. Otis is super high energy and loves his walks so we're always out and about. He is very confident, playful and is an absolute joy.
