As a nurse, I have a passion to take care of people, but I think I love my time spent with dogs that much more. Sadly, with my 12 hours shifts I cannot have my own right now. I have volunteered at animals shelters and co-raised a husky puppy with an ex boyfriend. At the animal shelter, I participated in “hiking hounds” and would take the dogs out on fun adventures. My husky was a handful as she had separation anxiety and loved to dart off, but after a few months of patience and training, she became one of the most well behaved dogs in our neighborhood.
