Hello! I’m Amber and I absolutely love being around animals! Growing up I always had a dog in my home including labs, huskies, Dobermans, and dachshunds. Now I have a four year old Siberian Husky named Mishka who is ALWAYS full of energy. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in biology. I am a high school science teacher at an inner city school, but I have always had a passion for animal care. While in college I was an assistant manager at a pet boarding facility and loved every moment. I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I have a special place in my heart for shy, timid dogs, but I also thrive working with large and/or challenging pups. Fun fact: my coworkers used to call me “the dog whisperer”! I look forward to meeting your fur baby soon!
