Pet care experience
I have a true care for animals of all kinds. I am definitely more of a dog person, but cats have been warming up to me lately :) I treat our pets as precious treasures that make our lives so much more fun, comforting, adventurous and sweet. I tend to connect well with animals quickly. I'm good at reading body language if something is wrong, and love to continually learn how to care for them better. I had a Golden Retriever, Carmel, for 15 years with my family. I also spontaneously bought a 9-week-old German Shepherd from Mexico, raised her for a month and gave her to my friend. This gave me a great base for understanding animals, growing more love for them and being forever thankful for the blessing that they are! :)

I love finding out what kind of personality your pet/s have, and how I can take better care of them. If they have any nervous tensions, fears, or just plain quirks, it is always good to know. I have a wide range of understanding different breed tendencies, but every animal is still different. I would ask about how comfortable they are walking past other animals or people, if they like to be a vacuum and eat everything, or if they get overheated or cold easily. I love finding out different ways to take better care of animals. Can't wait to meet him/her!
A typical day
As a walker specifically, we would go for 30 min at the particular pace your pet desires, and the time dependent on you. We can catch some sun rays, or bundle up in the colder months to make our way around your neighborhood. We might visit a nearby park or trail, crunch leaves and sniff pretty flowers (I might as well!) I am sure to pick up the doodoo so as to be respectful of the neighbors too, and be wary of specific tendencies such as proximity to other dogs and people. I LOVE my job and create a safe environment for your pet.
