I’m known as the resident pet-sitter in my family and I currently work as a vet assistant. Due to my extensive experience with pets, I am skilled in basic training, veterinary medicine (including medicine administration), rescue pet-care, and being kissed to death by our furry friends. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and athletic dogs are no problem for me! I also have quite thick skin, so cat claws are never an issue. I would be thrilled to watch your pet!

Amari took great care of Max! He had some digestion issues while I was gone, and she kept me updated the entire time and watched him for signs of distress. I felt completely comfortable leaving Max with her!
Amari is an amazing young lady, very gentle and peaceful in her handling of my somewhat skittish dog, she is very mature and poised with great manners and communication. Amari is very customer service oriented and understanding. Considerate, responsive, and thorough. Highly recommend her!
Amari did an amazing job with our two dogs (and beardie!) She asked plenty of questions ahead of time to show up prepared. One of our pups has epilepsy and she watched her very closely, even carrying her inside (she’s 70 lbs) when she showed some signs of a potential seizure. We came back to our home looking perfectly in order and all of our pets happy and well taken care of. From the photos, I can tell our babies were well loved while we were away. Will definitely be in contact with her next time we are out of town. Thank you, Amari!

Safety is the number one priority! As a pet parent, I completely understand the importance of safety when caring for our furry friends. As a new client, I will always ask you of any rules I should be aware of (example: not letting your dog out in the backyard because they’re a resident escape artist) and apply that knowledge to my experience with your pets! Dogs are always leashed on walks, no matter what, and care will be taken to avoid meeting other animal friends on walks (unless you state otherwise), just in case! P.S. - I am a master at closing the front door as fast as possible when I enter/leave a house.

A typical day
I love to match your pet’s “vibes.” If your dog prefers to sit on the couch, we can sit together and watch TV. If your cat prefers to be left alone, I will stay away and simply mind my business! If your dog has some energy, I can take them to a nearby park or play fetch in the backyard!

Availability
I work part-time during weekdays, and I typically know my schedule 2-4 weeks in advance. Therefore, last minute requests are (usually) not a big deal. I’m also always available on weekends (except Saturday from 9am-12pm)!
