If you desire a soothing, indulgent experience for your (nervous) fur-baby, keep reading… - PLEASE INCLUDE A PHOTO OF YOURSELF & YOUR PET IN YOUR REQUEST - You should know: - I have about a decade in childcare experience (nanny, babysitter, au pair in France) - I have been pet/house sitting for about 5 years now, with private clients I still regularly work with, and only added on Rover in mid-2022 - I live in northern NJ with my family, which includes 2 cats and 3 exotic reptiles - I am a WFH entrepreneur/author, which allows me to stay with your pet full-time - I have an Instagram account @petslovecareofficial I work best when I: - offer my services to respectful, responsible, and communicative pet/home owners - require Meet and Greets to vet for safety + relationship dynamics (I’m VERY sensitive to energy and will unequivocally reject unsympathetic, insensitive clients, aggressive, incompatible animals, and/or homes with “bad vibes”) - shamelessly baby talk + pet the animals as soon as they’re comfortable ;) My goals during a sit: - To keep your pet as CALM + HAPPY as possible while you’re away, by maintaining their routines and a peaceful environment - To make sure your home is as, if not BETTER, than you left it so you can instantly relax when you return - To do my part in cultivating safety for myself, your pet, and your home (I am extremely vigilant, private, and careful when care-taking your home and pet) How you can help me succeed: - Leaving me a document (recommendation: type, save, and then change a word doc when needed) that outlines your normal routines, emergency contact info including a vet number, medications & supplements (if discussed), and anything else I should be aware of and/or keep an eye out for - Reminding friends, family, and close neighbors you won’t be home and not to worry when they see me around or my car in your driveway (for my safety, “pop ins” / check ins ❌ are not welcome) - Being as HONEST as possible about what your pet needs to feel comfortable and secure and what you need as the owner from our first conversation My ideal clients: - Are thoughtful, hospitable, transparent in their communication, and enjoy a good laugh - Raise loving animals who enjoy or at least warm up to company - Have complete trust in my abilities to care for their furry loved one(s); helicopter owners and micromanagers are not a good fit - Respond well to questions and concerns - Own a clean, ghost-free home (I’m allergic to creepy!) - Enjoy themselves while they’re away Finally, I’m always open to questions throughout the booking process.
