Pet care experience
Come stay with us at PNW Precision K9, now offering kitty boarding and pet photography. Feel free to check us out on our website, FB, or IG. I have 14+ years experience working with animals, over the years I’ve worked in veterinarians, grooming facilities, and boarding facilities. I specialize in dog training offering basic training to working with dogs that have severe behaviors such as anxiety, reactivity and aggression towards other dogs and humans. Dogs who come for boarding are preferred to be kennel trained, but I do make exceptions especially for senior dogs that prefer to sleep on a couch all day. A little about me! I am 28 years old, I’ve been working with animals since I was 14 when I started volunteering with the red cross. I began training dogs when I was 18 while I was working at a boarding facility. I found my passion with working with animals when I was young, and have recently found my love for rehabilitating dogs with severe behaviors over the recent years.
Reviews
Great service and we really appreciated her accommodating a last minute need to board our pups for the night!
Amara was a great sitter for my 11 month old puppy, Seager. She was communicative from the time I requested the booking to the time I picked up my dog. The house has lots of open space for pets to move around and the property is entirely fenced so they can play outside in the big yard. Amara sent photos and videos of Seager during his stay. Great place to board your pet and even better pet sitter! Will be using Amara again!
Amara was great! She came to meet the pets a couple of days before I needed to drop them off. Which allowed them to meet her in their home environment. I boarded both my cat and my dog with her for 10 days, while we travelled. I was worried about my cat because he’s always been around dogs but hasn’t been around other cats since he was a kitten. I let Amara know this and she let me know the plan. She kept me updated on how he was doing and sent videos and pictures when I messaged to check in. She kept me updated about both pets and let me know when my dog got anxious. I really appreciated the communication and her care for my pets. 10/10 would recommend using her services, she’s great! 😊
Thank you Amara for taking such good care of Tango! What a relief to have someone so knowledgeable take care of our pup while we were away. I would bet there is no dog (or dog problem) you couldn't handle. 😃👍

Dogs begin to go outside at 6am, and they go outside for the last time around 10pm. I have a fully fenced half acre that the dogs can freely run and play. I feed breakfast around 8am and dinner at 7pm. If your pup does not finish their food within an hour, I will leave it in their kennel at owners request. I have monitored play groups up to four dogs, sometimes six if they’re breeds less than 35 pounds.

Information Amara L. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me everything there is to know about your dogs. Favorite toys, treats, triggers, aggression, reactivity and so on. I will not turn away a dog due to aggression towards dogs or humans, I just would like to know ahead of time so I can prepare for their stay and get a training plan figured out.
A typical day
We wake up a six am and start to crate and rotate, each dog gets twenty minutes out in the morning to relieve themselves. I feed breakfast at eight am, so long as no one is food reactive, everyone gets to keep their food in their kennels till they’re done. Dogs chill for twenty minutes after eating to avoid tummy aches. The rest of the day from there is potty/play rotations. Small supervised play groups, dog walks for those who request them. Maybe a little training here and there for some pups I notice may need a little help. Dinner is at seven pm, again I let dogs chill in kennels for twenty minutes after eating and then we crate and rotate along with small play groups till around nine thirty when everyone goes back up in their kennels for bed time.

Availability
I run my business full time from home, so your dog will always have someone with them. If I have dogs that are not socialized I offer a two hour crate and rotate. Two hours up, and two hours out having fun and playing.
