Pet care experience
While I have never taken care of pets professionally, I've been around animals my whole life. My grandpa is from a farm in Mexico and we would spend several vacations throughout the year there. The farm housed all kinds of animals, horses, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, and I've always loved being around them! At home, we always had pets; cats, dogs, bunnies, and even chickens for a time. I'm originally from Arizona and moved to Chicago a year ago. In Arizona, we have two dogs and a cat. The cat is my baby so he moved to Chicago with me but the dogs stayed with my mom. Even though I don't have any professional experience, I will do my best to look after them and make sure they are well taken care of. I am excited to start working with your fur babies!

Amani is one of the best dog sitters I’ve ever had! Her soft, gentle and easy going demeanor immediately put my 2 1/2 year old corgi at ease. Her attention to detail and caring, for my little girl was tremendous. She connected immediately with my dog and firmed up a relationship right away. As my dog is on medication, Amani was more than willing to go ahead and administer that in my absence as well. As well as take her on long walks around the neighborhood which my dog absolutely loves. I almost venture to say that my dog now almost loves her more than me 😃 thank you for everything, Amani!

Availability
I am currently a full-time master's student. In addition to school, I also do volunteer and will start an internship that is all related to my career path. As such, my schedule can be both flexible and rigid. As such, there may be some days/weeks where my schedule will be more consistent and others where I may remove some days from my schedule. However, I will always give enough time notice during those times and will not accept requests when I know I will have other plans.
