Hey there! I'm Amandine, a pet lover from Montreal. I've always lived with cats and dogs until moving from France five years ago, and I have found myself deeply missing their company. I grew up taking care of the family's pets - three German Shepherds, two Yorkshires and too many cats to count. I therefore have experience with both small and big dogs, and am equally comfortable with both of them. As my schedule is very flexible, I am able to give pups constant attention and tons of walks as needed. I am lucky enough to be living in a beautiful area, and I enjoy going for morning strolls in the neighbourhood and long evening walks.

Amandine was a wonderful and caring pet sitter for my 2 painfully shy kitties with special needs. She sent plenty of photos, videos and updates, which totally eased my anxiety about leaving them. I returned to a clean home and happy, healthy kitties!

Amandine was a great sitter for our dog Swan! She's quick to respond, friendly, comfortable, and can definitely handle a 130+ lb dog! She sent us photos every day of her stay which really reassured us about Swan's wellbeing! Definitely recommend Amandine for any dog size :)
Amandine was really wonderful with my Stevie over the weekend. It was my first time to have him stay overnight with a new person and she was amazing. She sent lots of updates about their activities and his well-being along with photos. It was very reassuring. She also left my house impeccably clean!! Will definitely be rebooking :)) Carmen

Please let me know if your dog has any issue with other dogs, children, etc! I've taken care of dogs who were really uncomfortable with kids, who tend to try and pet them a lot, for example. Telling me everything there is to know about your furry friend will ensure that both your dog and I have the best experience.

My wish is to provide a flawless service so both you and your pet can have the best experience, and I would be more than happy to accommodate your pet's needs. Please let me know if your pet requires any special attention -any treatment which needs to be given, allergies, if he or she has separation anxiety, is in need of some extra activity or shouldn't be taken for walks too long... I would also appreciate to be informed about your dog's behaviour with other people and animals, especially since I like to spend a lot of time outside and should absolutely know how your dog reacts when encountering children, cats, other dogs or crowded places, in order to adjust if needed! Don't be afraid to tell me too much about your pet; I would love to hear more about their personality, habits and quirks! Any information that could help me know and understand your furry friend will also make their stay go as smoothly as possible, so it definitely matters to me :) I am very accommodating, and always thoroughly respectful of the owner’s guidelines and preferences. PS: although using a collar or a harness is up to your preference, I recommend using a harness and won't walk big dogs that don't have one, as it offers much better control in case your dog puts her/himself (or others) in danger
A typical day
If your dog enjoy long walks, there are numerous interesting dog friendly itineraries. If your dog goes along with other dogs, dog parks are also a very nice option!

Availability
I can easily work my schedule around the pet I am caring for. I usually walk dogs 4 times a day (early morning/around 12/afternoon/before going to bed), but can adjust to your dog's needs if they need to be walked less/more often than that.
