Animal lovers - Military Friendly
Pet care experience
My kids and I have taken care of dogs big and small! From teacup Chihuahuas to Great Danes. We love animals here and we understand the military life style can make that difficult. I am a stay at home mom and a student studying to become a Certified Surgical Technologist. I'm home every day, all day, and can care for your pets around the clock. We do have 2 cats, a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a bunny, so I ask that your animals be friendly to both children and other animals. We have a fenced in yard with grass and shade for the animals to enjoy frequent bathroom breaks whenever they wish. I have no problems accommodating any type of feeding schedule you would like to keep in place during their stay. I do prefer you provide their kennel/crate and their food for the duration of their stay but it is not mandatory. I do not keep them locked up, for safety reasons, if I do need to step out or leave animals unsupervised I like the peace of mind knowing they will be safe.

She is amazing with our dogs.
Our 2 energetic dogs had the best time with Amandah! They were well taken care of and spoiled with belly rubs. We appreciated the pictures and updates while we were away.
I’d never left my fur baby with anyone before so I was very nervous, but Amandah was so wonderful and gave me zero reason to worry! She kept me undated and sent pictures when my kitty cooperated. So thankful I found her and have someone to trust in the future with my kitty.

Every morning the animals are cared for first thing! They get let outside, fresh water and food (if this matches their feeding schedules) and get lots of good morning attention. I like to meet with clients ahead of time to ensure pets have a good demeanor about them and will do well in the home with other animals. If your dogs do not typically do well with cats, I use a safety gate to ensure the cats have their own space away from other pets to keep everyone safe. Let me know how often you would like me to update you during their stay and I will do my best to send you photo updates to let you know they're in good hands.

I like to know your pets day to day schedule for care to make sure they get the love and attention they're used to during their stay in my home. Let me know if they have any food allergies to keep them comfortable and safe. I usually stay stocked up on treats for your pets, so let me know if you're OK with that, and especially appreciate it if you bring some of their favorite treats from home as well. Let me know if they are aggressive/possessive in any way in regards to their food/treats while they eat, so I know to separate them if needed. Are they crate trained? Do they typically like to chew? Let me know anything and everything about your pet that may help ease your mind, keep them safe, and make their stay as comfortable as possible. I also love hearing about their big/little personalities!
A typical day
Playing catch, tug of war and running around the yard are activities me and my kids love to partake in during your pets stay. Your pets can also enjoy short walks around the neighborhood, especially in the summer, to make sure they don't get over heated or burn their little paws. If your pet is more of the lazy chill type that's OK too! We allow them on the furniture with us for cuddles and if they normally sleep with you we let them in our beds too!

Availability
I am a stay at home mom and student so taking care of your pets during the day is my priority. I can frequently let them outside and give them lots of attention while I work towards my career goals.
