Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Amanda :). Our lively and fun family of 6 would love to welcome your fur baby into our daily family life. We are conveniently located just off I35 and 75th street near the Advent Hospital, so drop off and pick up can be super easy! We started our Rover (family) business/experience in June of 2021 and have been having a total blast meeting all of our new rover friends. I see myself carrying this on for a long while! With 4 (human) kids of our own there is always someone to give belly rubs, snuggles, treats and individual play to your dog! We treat our Rover business as a family affair, and everyone is happy to play a part in loving your dog! Our shady and fenced backyard is great for bursts of energy and lazy times on the patio alike. Griz, our 2 year old black Labrador is always up for a new playmate. Feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys or treats to share- or we have many here as well! Our family knows how important socializing, attention, and comfort are for your pet’s well-being. They deserve to be comfortable and happy while you’re away, and as a family we all strive to put them at ease and offer lots of love and attention during their stay! Our biggest hope is to earn your trust and a relationship with your dog so that they come back time after time to a familiar and enjoyable place- making your time away, and theirs, the best it can possibly be!

We have a fenced backyard and two year old black Labrador playmate to keep your dog entertained and safe. I am able to crate your pet if needed, but am also comfortable leaving them out in the house with our Labrador if I need to be out for a little while. We have plenty of space for an extra pet bed, food and water dish, toys if you prefer to bring them. If your dog prefers, he’s even allowed to nap upstairs on the beds.

Let me know what special diet or care your dog needs. I want to make your animal as comfortable as I can while they’re away from you! We will need to have pets in our home who are open to new friends (our Labrador and 6 chickens- they stay in a coop when dogs are around) and friendly with kids.
A typical day
Your pup will have a great day! There is never a dull moment and activities could include playing in the yard with our lab, riding in the car on errands or kid pick ups, occasional Starbucks stops for a pup cup treat, walks to the park, or cozy afternoon naps! Our family will love your pet like they’re our own, whether snuggling up to read books or running joyously in the backyard. We can walk to the park near our home or play fetch in the field just beyond our yard. There’s always some adventure when you’re spending your day with our family!

Availability
Currently I stay home full time and care for my Rover friends, 4 human kids 😁, and our home- so there is always someone around! Your dog is welcome on outings with me or to stay home just relaxing if I need to step out. With a family of 6, people are always around to rub ears, play, snuggle, let them outside to play, or just be a comforting presence. ***I have learned from experience that I need to be clear on rates for doggy daycare and overnight boarding. I’d LOVE to do either or a combo of both for your furry friend! If you request Pet BOARDING: I find it most fair to have drop off and pick up hours: Drop off after 12pm and pick up before 12pm! Think more like a hotel stay ☺️. If you need to drop off earlier or pick up later for dog boarding, I would love to accommodate that for you if our schedule allows but will charge an extra $15 for a half day of day care. If you book a doggy DAY CARE: I find it most fair to offer a range of drop off and pick up times: please drop off no earlier than 7am and pick up no later than 7pm. If you need extended time frames, I definitely understand and would love to help your schedule but will charge $15 for an additional “half” day of daycare for extended hours. I ALWAYS strive to keep my rates fair and my care for your doggy superior, so never hesitate to ask questions or reach out if you have questions!!
