I grew up with two labrador retrievers who made for some hilarious and crazy memories. Pets are such a special part of the household and, because of this, my friends know me as one of the biggest dog lovers. I have helped dog-sit several family and friends' dogs in recent years when they have obligations or go on vacation. In our house, we've had visitors ranging everywhere from frenchies to dachshunds to lab mixes. They know they are allowed on the furniture and are in for lots of rubs and play time when they come to our home. As of 2022, I regularly walk dogs and have a few regular clients who consider me their preferred walker in the area. My schedule is hybrid (half in office/half at home) and I am always looking to get in extra steps and walk dogs around the town. My flexibility allows for some last minute requests and daycare during the work week. I have experiencing walking small and large dogs and always make sure they are properly harnessed before heading out. Out of precaution, I tend to avoid other dogs while taking walks around the neighborhood, or before heading into a dog park. I always check in with the owner before, during, and after a visit to make sure their needs are met and let them know that their pet is safe and comfortably back at home. If I am boarding a dog, I will not have any other pets boarded unless requested.
