Pet care experience
I have trained one puppy— my own— and she is quite well-behaved as an adult. I have tons of experience caring for as many as 6 pets, 3 cats and 3 dogs, and have other experience simultaneously caring for 2 dogs and 1 cat. I live an active lifestyle so walking dogs is fun and rewarding for me. I enjoy making pets feel good in the home as well, with plenty of verbal and physical affection :)

I came to Amanda as a super paranoid and terrified dog mom, having previously had a traumatic experience with another sitter. She didn't make me feel crazy and reassured me constantly with pictures and updates while I was gone. Amanda took great care of Toonie and I definitely will be rebooking in the future. Great care and flexiblity mean a lot to me and the amount of attention Toonie and I both received didn't go unnoticed. I would definitely consider Amanda when looking for someone for your fur babies!

A typical day
I live near Iroquois park and go there multiple times a week. If your pet were boarding with me and has lots of energy, we’d definitely be going to check out the smells there! I love seeing dogs shine and am very perceptive about what they might need.

Availability
I am available evenings, weekends, and perhaps midday if your pet is close enough to my work (downtown) or home (south Louisville), as I work at least 2 days from home. I work a “9-5” with plenty of flexibility in my schedule… I can start and end my day whenever I please and take an extended lunch break if need be. I am available for boarding and house sitting in and around Louisville. I am happy to accept bookings that are requested with less lead time than suggested, if I’m available.
