We have five dogs and this is the first time we have had someone outside of our family stay with them. From the first meet and greet we could tell that Amanda would be great. We were not disappointed. Everyone was happy and healthy after we returned from our 13 day vacation. We plan on using Amanda again and would recommend her highly to others.

Our 5 year old German Shepard mix (Addi) spent 8 days with Amanda and Mike while we went on a family vacation. We had never left Addi with non-family members for so long and were concerned with how she would do, especially since she sometimes doesn't eat when we're away, and we had never used DogVacay before. Amanda took great care of her and gave us some piece of mind. Staying with Amanda was way better for Addi than the alternative - boarding her where she wouldn't get much time outside of a cage. Amanda also sent us a few pictures of Addi enjoying her stay, which we really appreciated. Luckily, Mike was able to work at home a lot, so Addi didn't even see much of her kennel the whole time! We would definitely recommend Amanda to anyone and will certainly be interested in utilizing her for future dog-sitting needs! She was very flexible and easy to work with.
