Pet care experience
I have been caring & loving for animals for over 20 years. Ever since I was young I have had a deep love for animals. My daughter shared that love with me and has taught me new ways of caring for animals. I work from home part time and have flexibility throughout the week m-f to be available at any time. I am also available on weekends. I live walking distance from the open space that dogs are allowed on and off leash. My daughter loves animals and helps me take great care of them. We have a golden doodle of our own named honey who just turned 1 and loves to play. We love to take our furry friends to the parks and trails around Boulder & our neighborhood. We love to go on adventures, hang out in nature and at home with the animals we care for depending on their needs.
Reviews
Midas stayed with Amanda over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. She took excellent care of him, was very responsive and sent lots of updates with pictures and video.
Amanda has watched my dog on numerous occasions. She takes great care to ensure that my dog gets all the love and attention that she deserves. Amanda is a dog lover and a great dog sitter that can be trusted with your special pet!

Knowing how to best care for your animal is important to us. So being very open and transparent about your fur baby and all it’s needs. Some examples of good things to know from experience: is if they get anxiety leaving you and if that changes there behavior or bowel movements, if they wag their tails a lot, hit it on walls hard & bleed, if they whine or bark consistently, if they are not friendly with other dogs or kids, if they tend to resource guard, if they are currently sick, if they need medicine, if they are not fully potty trained or if they don’t do well in cars, etc.. Every animal is different and knowing the most about yours helps me determine if and how I can best be of support to you and your animal.
A typical day
We would play both inside and outside. We love to enjoy the outdoors and take our furry friend to nature. My dog loves going to the creek so I sometimes will take her there and another furry friend if they like that in the warm months. Hikes, playing fetch and hanging out in our peaceful home.

Availability
I already have a routine with my dog, Honey and so it fits in quite perfectly while gifting my dog play dates. She gets along with any dog and any size so long as they are friendly. Depending on there energy levels, needs and how well they behave I will take them on adventures and let them go wild/have fun!
