Pet care experience
I’ve got a playful, friendly & energetic golden retriever and I'm pretty much a human version. I have bags of love to share with dogs and genuinely enjoy connecting with them throw playing games like tug or reward based recall games. Happy to get stuck in, letting dogs be dogs ( and clean up the mess after this muddy walks!) I spent time with a dog in Norway for over a month, she was a border collie who needed stimulation and fuss, I also have experience with labradors & other smaller breeds. Caring for my own boy is full on and I think it'll be fun to add another mutt into the mix for his enjoyment and my own!

Jasper had a lovely week with Amanda, Sandy and her dog Ziggy. Lots of walks, lots of play and lots of love. We're so happy he could enjoy his time with them so much and have a holiday himself whilst we had ours!

I have a large apartment with a secure garden which is separate to our house but very close. Safety is the most important factor when caring for my dog so naturally this extends to other dogs I care for or even end up walking with when out on walks. Establishing trust and a playful friendship is key and so is knowing when to be authoritative & stern to ensure they listen when needed. I'm keen to adhere to individual dogs needs and preferences to ensure they are happy, healthy and owners feels confident knowing that their doggo is in the best care & environment.

My dog is very friendly and gets along with everyone and everything! He has high energy sometimes so a dog that likes to play with him would be lovely.
A typical day
Playing tug, sniffing games, use licky mats, cuddle time & even massage! I love to go for 1-2hr walks, sometimes longer at a gentle pace.

Availability
Working from home with a flexible schedule I work my day around my own dog - lots of walks out in the countryside, woodlands & trips around local coffee shops (because Ziggy loves a free biscuit and doesn't let me not go inside!) We love long walks. We love cuddles. We love making friends!
