I have been blessed to be an animal lover who has always had a dog my entire life. My first pet was a cutie named Mitzi. She was a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua. We actually went to adopt her puppies, but I fell in love with her instead! She loved to take car rides, go for long walks, play with her favorite toys, and (more importantly) she loved being a shy only child's best friend. She stayed with my parents when I was in college, and although I did love coming to visit my Mom and Dad on holiday breaks, I really came for my Mitzi girl. She was 17 when she passed, and I haven't officially had a permanent dog of my own since. However, I have kept for months at a time my parent's dog (Annie) on and off for about 9 years.I have also kept co-workers pets for weeks-months at a time. I am reminded with each new dog why I am so passionate about animals! Their wonderful unique personalities are just the best thing to have around. My qualifications to be your families sitter are as follows(isn't dog another word for family?): I am very patient (I teach middle school aged children-perfect training in patience), I am fun (dog adventures are always welcomed-walking, playing, driving around), I am responsible (did I mention that I am a teacher), and I will love to take care of your fur friends!
