I love animals so much that I have dedicated years of my life to working in the vet field and being in school to further my knowledge about helping them. I understand how important the unique bond shared between a person and their fur baby is and will treat your pet as if it were my own. I'm reliable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and love sending pictures. This isn't just a side job to me. I truly love animals and enjoy spending time with them. As a person who is shy I understand those pets that are nervous around strangers. I strive to make pets as comfortable, safe, and happy as possible while their owners are away.

I believe strongly in following any instructions the owner provides so as to cause the least amount of stress for their pet. I like to keep stuff normal and comfortable for the pet. I am used to handling dogs and cats, especially nervous ones, in the safest manner possible. I like to give the pets lots of attention if they are wanting it, or space if that's what they prefer. I'm very vigilant about any health concerns since I work in a vet clinic and will communicate about any possible problems with the owner.

I would like to know how comfortable the pets are around new people and away from the owners. I would also like to know their normal routine and likes plus dislikes so that I can take care of them in the best possible way and make sure they are comfortable and happy. It's also important that I know if they try to dart out the door because even though I'm cautious about this it's good to know.
A typical day
Dogs and cats will enjoy lots and lots of attention and love. If there are toys then they will also enjoy fun play time. They can cuddle with me, get lots of scratches and pets, or just be happy that someone's around if they prefer to keep to themselves. Even though they don't always understand me, I love talking to them.

Availability
I am available every day of the week, but I do currently work full time as a vet receptionist (previous vet assistant). I work 8:45am-5:45pm Monday through Thursday and Friday's I work 8:30-2:30. I have an hour lunch break everyday except Friday's I work a full 6 hours. I am able to pet sit any time around work and can check on pets during my lunch depending on the distance from my work. I do occasionally have to be gone here or there for a few hours but guarantee to be back for potty breaks and of course at night. This isn't a weekly/daily thing, just depends on if I need to run an errand or have a family event to attend.
