I’m Amanda and I love dogs so much. They are so playful, lovable, and kind and make my job not really feel like a job. Rover allows me to get to meet new animals and dog lovers, just like me! Experiencing new puppy friends, with different personalities and unique behaviors, makes this job so special. Growing up, there was always a dog around. We used to have a Jack Russell Terrier and now I have a cat and yorkie of my own. I would be happy to care for any size, breed, or personality of pup (or cat). As a dog owner, I know how hard it is to be away from your furry friend so I’ll be in consistent and frequent contact, sending you lots of photo and text updates so you have rest assured, your pup is in great hands. I’m also an amateur photographer, so I’ll be sending you some pretty cute shots of your pup around town! I live in a beautiful apartment in Jersey City and though I’ll be the primary caregiver to your pup, my mom will help out too! We live together and both adore any new pup that joins us in our space. We have a cat, but we can separate the two if need be. When I’m not pet sitting, I work with children as an assistant teacher. I also love to read and take a bike and explore New York. Some of my favorite places, which are also near to my home, are the Newport Mall and Liberty State Park. Your pup can join me on any of my adventures!
