Pet care experience
Hello! I have been taking care of dogs since I was very young, I grew up with rescued dogs and purchased dogs alike. I have experience conducting dog CPR, I know how to care for a dog who may have/ has seizures, I'm very aware of the poisonous food dogs can not have and conscious of dietary needs. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Reviews
2nd time Amanda walked my girl because I have a bad foot injury still. She was great
Really kind person that honestly seems to care about animals
Amanda is so kind and thoughtful when taking care of my pup! I have booked with her on multiple occasions and she has been phenomenal!
Definitely recommend Amanda! Great communication and she kept me up to date with chako and photos too! I would get her again when I need some help with chako while out of town!! 🫶🏽

I live in a two-bedroom condo, the condo grounds have many areas for pets and there is a very relaxed park next to the complex that has open fields. I allow animals on my furniture and the bed if they are comfortable up there. I do have steps to the bed for smaller dogs. Every room in the house has hardwood and there is a removable rug in the living room (this will be removed upon request or by the age of the dog). I do have two small dogs, Ollie and Opal (both are neutered and spayed), but depending on the booking they will be at my parents (who spoil them rotten) while your pet is visiting our cozy home. If you have any questions, please reach out, I would be happy to answer. :)

Information Amanda T. would like to know about your pet
As someone who has a special needs pet I understand the importance of care instructions. I would like to know about medication schedules, food prep (if applicable), walking instructions, triggers, and no gos. No gos for example are: dog parks, public parks, windows in the car open, collar on or off in the home, crate open or closed when left, etc,.
A typical day
I enjoy letting dogs sniff to their heart content, sniff walking where you allow the dog to smell their surroundings during their walks has been proven to burn more energy than extending an already long walk. Playing fetch, chase, and other fun games with your pet is a must. I love to be active and have no issue doing so with your furry friend.

Availability
I currently work for a non-profit organization, I work Monday through Thursday with Fridays free. I have flexibility for Thursday afternoon but must have four-day notice. I am usually up and active by 9:00 AM but can be up by 6:30 AM as that is the time my dogs take their medication daily.
