Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a 26 year old that is not quite sure of where I will be in the next year or two. As a result, I am not willing to adopt a dog of my own - but am more than happy to provide a safe space and a bunch of love to yours! I have a history of volunteering at animal shelters for TLC (tender love and care) and clinic work. I also grew up rescuing strays from the streets of Los Angeles. My aunt and I would nurse dogs, cats, rabbits, or chickens back to health before putting the creatures in touch with a no-kill shelter or non-profit organization. Please consider me if you have an especially loving cat or dog! I also have a soft spot for the senior animals :) Additional notes about me: I work from 8am - 5pm on Monday - Friday. I commonly have 1 hour for lunch that I will use to let a dog out for relief and about 15 minutes of play.

My buddy Nemo is nearly six years old and this is the first time he's been left alone with a non-family member. I just moved cross-country and needed someone I could trust to watch him over Thanksgiving. Amanda was great, and so was her fiancé Josh. Feeding his special diet food was no problem, administering his daily medicine was no problem, and evidently making sure he was loved and safe was no problem. Amanda sent pictures and checked-in regularly understanding it was the dog dad who needed more assurance than the dog. :). I'd recommend this dynamic duo to anyone and already booked my next weekend getaway. Give Amanda a call today.
I told Amanda that it would take a great deal of effort on her part to get our little cattle dog to warm up to her. Maddie the cattle dog is anxious and slow to warm up to new people but she liked Amanda right away. I was shocked when Amanda sent me photos of Maddie snuggling with her in bed. I’ve never seen her take to anyone that quickly. When Amanda sent other pictures of maddie playing ball and enjoying herself
Amanda did a great job taking care of my two dogs up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She was unfazed by terrible weather and road conditions during her stay. One of our dogs is recovering from knee surgery. She was familiar with the procedure and asked lots of questions. She followed his special care instructions perfectly. She sent lots of photo updates and took the dogs on lots of walks. She also helped take care of my fish after I remembered I forgot to set the fish tank timer. She communicated quickly and effectively and left the house spotless. The dogs were happy and mellow when we returned home. I will definitely ask Amanda for help taking care of my pups in the future.
Amanda gets 5 plus stars! Our dogs were clearly happy and at ease with her. She kept us updated with pictures and sweet texts. We have 5 dogs, and they are our BABIES! We are very particular with their care. I was completely at ease knowing Amanda was with them while we were away. She is TERRIFIC!
