Pet care experience
I've got a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from NC State University (basically the biology of animals). I moved here from Michigan, where my family includes 3 ankle biters, Sophie Radar and Lexi. I have two cats named Jack and Annabelle, and live in a pet friendly apartment complex. I also am experienced in caring for other animals as well (exotics, reptiles, and farm animals). I would LOVE to meet your big or small four legged family members and spend some time with them while you are busy! I currently work at Duke University doing animal care, so I am in Durham M-F 8a-4p. Interned at the Ann Arbor Creature Conservancy in Michigan, and Noah's Landing Zoo in Coats NC. Experienced sitting medium and large sized dogs, ownership of two small dogs. Also sat for owners with cats. Why I love dog sitting I've owned dogs as long as I can remember. I've had all kinds of dogs from a chihuahua-terrier mix and a westie to a huge rottweiler and a chow-chow. I've loved and more importantly, been able to handle, them all.

If you need the best care for your pet choose Amanda! Amanda is flexible, intuitive, thorough, and prompt. She has great canine and human communication skills. Kipper was walked and fed with the attention she deserves while I needed to focus on other matters. Amanda informed me of their activities and I have full confidence that Kipper was in excellent hands! My first time using Rover. This is a wonderful thing! Thank you!
Nice knowing Scooter is safe while we are gone. She sent us a cute picture of him in his favorite spot sun bathing while we were gone!
