Pet care experience
I am a veterinary student at Iowa State University and have years of experience with family pets of all shapes and sizes. I love being outside and have a variety of hours available from day to day. I have no problem taking on pets with special needs and have experience working at a vet clinic for the last few years. I am comfortable providing basic first aid and have a variety of resources available to me through my education in times of emergencies. I have worked with my own pets and several of my friend's pets on simple training and listening skills. I am very accessible via phone and I would love to send you pictures during my visits with your pet! I am a native to the midwest so the cold weather doesn't phase me if you have a dog that needs to burn some energy during the winter months.

I don't know if you could find any one on this site more qualified than Amanda to be responsible for your precious pup. I have been friends with Amanda for years and she has always been my sidekick in thinking every dog on the street is adorable. Not only is she a dog lover to the core, but she is pursing a career at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I have had my dog for just shy of a year now, and she has put up with my numerous phone calls/questions with both kindness and patience. When you combine both an animal lover and veterinary medicine experience, your pet will be in such great hands when with Amanda!
Amanda has been an animal lover for as long as I've known her. She is in Vet school and has extensive experience working with dogs. She is responsible and patient as well. No doubt your fur baby would be in good hands.
Amanda would be an amazing dog sitter/walker. I have two young yorkies that she is very patient with and loves on all the time. She has even taught my youngest yorkie how to sit and lay down. She is well organized and very responsible. I don't know anyone better to take care of/walk your pet!
I have known Amanda for several years and have watched her interact with both dogs and cats of all sizes. She has always loved hanging out and playing with my pets. She also has a veterinary medicine background which makes me feel more comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Several times we have contacted her about advice when one of our pets was sick. Whether your dogs want to play fetch at the park or cuddle on the couch - they will be in good care with Amanda.
