Hello! My name is Amanda. I have been watching dogs for years for family and friends,so I decided to join Rover to keep pursuing my love for pet sitting.Growing up in a family that all love and have even rescued animals, I have cared for a variety of different animals, from hamsters and birds,to cats and dogs .My family even owned a Doggy daycare which I helped out when I could so I've had a lot of experience caring for other dogs/ cats since I was young .I currently own 3 wonderful dogs who I absolutely love! My love for animals has actually pursued me to work in the veterinary field and I am currently going to school to become a vet tech! I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments and am able to handle any kind of dog or cat.Whatever your pet needs are, I can handle and do it all!

Our dog had stayed with Amanda several times. We know she is well cared for and has a great time with all the other dogs! She sends pics and updates throughout the trip. We will keep using whenever we need a dog sitter!
Amanda saved me with a last minute booking for an overnight watch. She was thorough with the initial meeting because my 5 month old Black Lab, Toby had never visited there before. Amanda welcomed Toby in, made sure the first introductions with her dogs went well and they made fast friends! I will be booking Amanda regularly hopefully moving forward! Highly recommend her!
Definitely a 10/10 rating for Amanda. We had her taking care of our girls for a day, she did it so great and professional and she also provides pink-up & drop-off services. We will book with her again next time!
Amanda was wonderful watching my dog at my home! She went above and beyond of what I expected. She sent updates and pictures daily. She picked up the dog waste and properly disposed of it. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for their pets to cared for.

A typical day
I'm very active and love going on hikes( as well as running )so there will daily walks when your pup is with me if allowed .I know a few beautiful areas to take them around the area and would love to bring them along .Otherwise, we're all just usually hanging out at home in my bed or having some play time in the backyard.

Availability
I have a big ,fenced in yard and a doggie door so your dogs can go outside whenever unless your dogs needs to be watched while outside. I can be gone from 2-5 hours a day for school for some months, but I am able to come back home when my days are longer if need be. My dad is home for part of the year, but is gone for the spring and fall seasons.I am the sole caretaker for the dogs and am home most of the time from mid May to the end of August as well as from December to mid January when school is not in session.
