I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up on a farm in Oregon my family bred and I showed Newfoundlands so my experience with pets is pretty vast.

Amanda was professional and punctual. My husband and I were in a pinch to find pet care and she was happy to commit even with such short notice. I prefer to watch pets at a client's Folsom (or nearby) home as I have two dogs of my own to care for. If, a dog is great with other dogs, they are welcome to come to my house; I have a fully fenced backyard and would be present 100% of the time.

Any health or dietary issues they may have, if they are friendly with other dogs or children or strangers. Knowing their feeding/exerdise/sleeping schedule is very important so that life stays as normal for them as possible while their people are away.
A typical day
I tailor dog activities to the age/ability and preferences of the dog. During a meet/greet I think it's important for me to know what a dog does and does not like so I can accommodate them. If your dog loves walks around the neighborhood or particular games, that's important for me to know.

I've recently retired from a career as a magazine publisher and am not great at doing nothing. I love dogs and have often needed pet sitters so I know it can be a challenge to find someone. My schedule is extremely flexible.
